No blog about conspiracy theories and secret societies would be complete without a mention of the Knights Templar. I'm not going to get into a detailed discussion about them at the present time. I just wanted to list a few of the books, in my personal library, that mention the Knights Templar.
- Mysteries and Magic (Orion Publishing Group, 1999) by John and Anne Spencer
- The Secret Societies Handbook (Barnes & Noble Books, 2004) by Michael Bradley
- The Secret Teachings of All Ages (Philosophical Research Society, 1988) by Manly P. Hall
These books just touch on the subject of the Knights Templar. Conspiracy theorists believe that modern day Freemasons have a direct link back to the Knights Templar of medieval times. Most modern day Freemasons will deny any such link. Interesting thoughts.
